Governor Paterson has had not much good news lately but Sunday’s NY Post might have printed some.

Albany Bureau Chief Fred Dicker blasts Paterson and writes –
Paterson's first year was so calamitous that few in state political circles believe the governor can withstand an all-but-certain Democratic primary challenge.
Why you might ask ii this good news?
It’s because the political insiders that Dicker has quoted in the past never seem to get it right!

Republicans aren't at a point of predicting that McCain will win heavily Democratic New York, but they say his better-than-expected showing means a higher GOP vote in November, and thus extra help in the crucial battle for control of the state Senate.
