"Pedro Espada is my senator. I have always voted for him, and I trust in him," said Tomasito Batista, 57-year-old owner of Batista Travel Real Estate in Tremont.

FYI to the Wall Street Journal and others who automatically believe what voters tell them –

Pedro Espada was elected from his present district for the first time in 2008. He previously represented a different district. Unless Mr. Batista has moved around the Bronx, when he says he always votes for Espada means he did it, at the most, two times in 2008.
