Let's be honest, if this it was Andrew who fathered a bastard instead of Carl (What? You thought I was going to say Mario?), would it make you consider voting for Paladino? Of course not (I hope).

BTW, was I the only one who saw the front page of yesterday’s Post and though that this guy had the Al Pirro syndrome? Did you check out the pictures of Carl’s wife and his gumada? Carl is a loyal guy who just wants to schtup the woman he married. His problems is that he wants her to look the way she did on the day they wed. That not being possible, he buys himself the virtual experience.

It would be far more sensible to find a mistress with the same name as your wife, rather  than the same face, no?

Nonetheless, this one goes out to Carl. DIANA ROSS AND THE SUPREMES – on Dailymotion www.dailymotion.com Diana Ross and the Supremes “Love Child”

Perhaps I will one day forgive the man who included me on a list of 13 employees who had to go one day one when he became Senate Minority Leader, but the thought of Marty Connor on SNL is just too damned enticing Paterson Makes Up With 'Weekend Update' – NYTimes.com cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com

Now there's a great endorsement; his running mate says to vote for him. I'd be more if his ex-wife were running his campaign (wait a minute, she is). Andrew Cuomo Endorses Eric Schneiderman For AG www.nydailynews.com

Continuing the Afghan War one minute longer may very well be misguided, but that does not make it a war of imperialism. My City was attacked, for chrissakes (perhaps not the best choice of words)! Annoying Article of the Morning #2:

I think this is far too hysterical.

For instance, Salman Rushdie supports the Young Men's Islamic Association being allowed to build in Lower Manhattan (perhaps he just appreciates the First Amendment).

More importantly, Islamic religious zealotry is surely a domestic problem in much of the world; however, in America, it is a threat only concerning acts of terror.

The question is, could Islam ever threaten the foundations of our domestic legal system?

I have to say not.

If there is a credible threat by religious zealots to our legal system, it does not come from radical Muslims, but rather from radical Christians.

In New York, they and their allies threaten to use zoning, landmark and energy law to stop the building of a religious facility. In Texas, they use their power (which, given craven publishers, will reverberate nationally), to rewrite history to deny the truth that the Crusades were not the God’s righteous on the march, but rather a more complicated affair at least arguably involving unjustified atrocities committed by Christians against Muslims in the name of the Prince of Peace, and inarguably involving such atrocities being committed by Christians against Jews in the name of a Jew.

Where will it end?

As to Sharia being used in the US? Well, in many states, it is already the law that in most instances, courts will not interfere with the decisions of parties to forgo the civil legal system and use a mutually agreed upon arbitrator. In many cases, this arbitrator is a religious court, such as a Bes Din.

Should Muslims be allowed to do the same thing?
