A model of personal accountability, Michael told Frankie Five Angels "Your Family's still called Corleone. And you'll run it like a Corleone."

But some jerks will put their name on anything if it generates them a few dollars. The only thing more shameful than Ron Paul's profiting off the hate tracts that bore his name are his passive voice denials of responsibility: "it ended up in the newsletter"

Indeed it did. http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2011/12/ron-pauls-shaggy-defense/250256/ www.theatlantic.com

Chait on Paul: "Let’s stipulate that Paul didn’t write any of those items. He still published a racist newsletter. If Larry Flynt were running for president, I’m pretty sure people wouldn’t care that much that he did not personally take the photographs that appeared in Hustler."

It's not some crazy coincidence that Ron Paul's newsletter was written by racists.” Don’t Ask Ron Paul About His Racist Newsletter nymag.com

Q: Why would right wing Republicans who’ve never expressed a concern about racial discrimination (except against white people) be so up in arms about Paul?

A: He violated a fundamental GOP principal–he left a paper trail.

Is Tom Tracy smoking crack?

I defy anyone to find any evidence that Igor Oberman is running for the State Senate, beyond for the fact that he spent 15 minutes running for Kruger’s seat in 2010. on him.

One cannot blame him for getting out while the getting was good.

However, one can blame Oberman for his cowardly statement of retreat: “I believe [Kruger] is someone important to Brooklyn and the Democratic majority,…There was room at the table for another person, but at this point I would say that we need someone like him representing Brooklyn."

Igor Oberman squandered what little credibility he had left, and then, to put the cherry on top of the cake, received his reward: a part time job with Marty Markowitz.

My guess is this story has no truth to this non-rumor, but in the unlikely event it is true, the 15 minutes Oberman spent in 2010 will look like eternity compared to the half life of this non-existent effort

That year, Oberman, then an administrative law judge at the Taxi and Limousine Commission, announced an abortive race against Kruger, but dropped out after the full weight of a Carl Kruger clusterfuck landed upon him.

The article asks if drawing Mike Cusick's residence into Matt Titone's district would cause him to run for Congress instead?

The author does not seem to understand that, in a reapportionment year, Cusick could run for Assembly anywhere in his home County, and would likely just follow the majority of his constituents, no matter where his home was.

A more apt question would be "whether Cusick would run for Congress if the minority voters of Port Richmond were drawn into Titone's district?"

That one might be a yes, no matter where they put Cusick's house. Could Non-Partisan Redistricting Create A New Challenger For Grimm? www.politickerny.com
