Queens Democrats Endorse Grace Meng for Congress
The Ackerman Fallout: A Brisket Battle, and Getting “Roryed” | City and State
Friday on Facebook:
Queens Guy: Crowley will probably support his cousin…
Gate: Perhaps—not sure he wants to piss off both Jews and Asians; Liz Crowley does not avoid a primary in that seat
Queens Guy: Do u think that he cares….
Gate: Yeah–he likes to have a piece of every interest group –his gays, his Jews, his Latinos, his Asians–it's why he threw Sabini under the bus.
Thought from today: Given the inevitability of a challenge from Lancman though, one could be forgiven for thinking that Crowley is doing his cousin a favor by splitting the white vote. Joe Crowley Says ‘I Love My Cousin Very Much,’ But He’s Not Backing Her Congressional Campaign
Though in fairness, I should note that Grace Meng went to Yeshiva U's law school. Ed Jew – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dear Friends/Community Partners/Elected Officials:
Over the past several months, I have been extremely proud to inform you of developments regarding my political goals, public service and the 2012 election season.
As with most campaigns, while there are positive moments, there are times when we must pause to address unfortunate negative occurrences. Earlier today, my campaign was informed that one of my opponents in the race for the New York State Assembly – 57th District, purchased and registered two domain names; olanikealabi.com and olanikealabi2012.com. The administrative contact is an individual who works for a public, community and government relations firm in New York City. I share this with you because my campaign team and I want to disavow any posts associated with the two sites. Essentially, We did NOT create them.
In a short period of time, I will provide you with a website for my campaign so you may obtain accurate information generated by us. The links below and the document attached will provide you with more information regarding that which I have outlined above.
All the best and let's continue to work together for the betterment of our community.

Gary Tilzer: Gatemouth description of IND’s avoidance of asking Millman why she voted for to continue the corrupt gerrymandering was another example how the reform clubs now back winners who offer fake promises of reform. Millman avoidance of reform is nothing when you examine who IND and New Kinds have supported for congress this year. The candidate back by corrupt Boss Vito Lopez, Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries. Jeffries has never supported a candidate against Brooklyn’s corrupt bosses Lopez or Norman.
Gate: Actually, what I said was:
"A vote to endorse Assemblywoman Joan Millman by acclamation saved her from having to answer any questions about how she voted on reapportionment."
Tilzer here mistakes effect for cause. I never said that the reason Millman was supported by acclimation was to avoid the reapportionment discussion.
While the acclimation vote spared Millman from having to speak, it was done to speed along an extremely overlong (and poorly run) meeting. No one who moved for acclimation was probably even thinking of reapportionment.
Of course, the fact that they weren't probably makes Tilzer's larger point.
Further, Tilzer's unfathomably condemns "reformers” for supporting Hakeem Jeffries for Congress against a man Tilzer himself calls "aging out of touch Ed Towns who is a puppet of the corrupt special interests… [and] has lost his ability to connect …"
In Tilzer's estimation, Jeffries should not be supported because he hasn't endorsed Tilzer’s candidates for judgeships.
That’s the same philosophy Vito Lopez has.
Pardon me for thinking "reform" is about choosing the most qualified candidates whose positions most resemble one’s own, rather than someone who allies with your allies.
In addition, Gary get a fact wrong (talk about a redundancy), Michael Cusick, not Joan Millman, Chalrs the Assembly Committee on Election Law. True News: True News Updated 24/7 Sundy Update: Dozens Arrested At Occupty's 6-Month Anniversay Rall
