It’s worth taking a look at this, seeing Pat Lynch from a different perspective. We talked to PBA President Pat Lynch about a number of issues this week. Frankly Lynch is starting to look like a polished official with a future in political office, Mayor of NYC.
In part one, Lynch was sympathetic to the family of Akai Gurley, while also defending the police officer. Gurley was the innocent Brooklyn man accidentally shot by a police officer in a dimly lit stairwell of a Brooklyn Housing project.
Lynch also declared the police protest of movies from Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino remains effective.
Here in part two, Lynch takes on police officer morale, police community relations, the NYPD response to terrorism, and anger over the recent arbitration contract battle.
