I have avoided commentary on this presidential race lately, mainly because there are things I don’t want to discuss right now. As it relates to political issues, I will wait until it is all over before I get back to brass tacks. But given that I have been badgered by some of my many fans to call the race: I will. In fact I will do a little more than that.
Let me say that there will be a record turnout for this year’s presidential race. I am talking about raw votes not percentage(s). Barack Obama will win easily; it won’t even be close. He will get closer to 400 electoral votes than three hundred. He will receive more single votes than any presidential candidate in the history of this great country.
He will win some states that haven’t gone for the democrats in decades. He will win in all regions of the country. He will even win in the south. The democrats will get to at least sixty in the Senate, and at least 250 in the House of Representatives. It will be an early night for media talking-heads. Stick a fork in John McCain’s candidacy: it’s done. He is cooked and his Republican Party is down on one knee.
The main vocation for Obama’s supporters after the fifth of November is to pressure the Secret Service, to tighten the protective net around Barack and his family members. Between Election Day and Inauguration Day of January next year, their lives are at heightened risk: once the reality of his presidency sinks in amongst racist radicals out there. This will be America’s newest challenge: protect Obama.
I am calling it here; just as I uniquely called it in Iowa’s Democratic primary. I will also give you the same reasoning: inside information (ancient family secret/lol). Plus, the young white voters (under 35) all over the country will come out in droves for Barack. These young white voters will deliver the historic victory; not blacks, Hispanics or other racial minorities. It won’t even come down to the female vote -even though he will win that category also. And by the way, don’t be surprised when you see him win the white male vote too. Obama will win every demographic voting category. His victory will be emphatic and resounding. He will do better than his poll numbers.
In state and local races, Democrats will have a good night all over the country. In New York, Dems will take the State Senate for the first time in decades. Thus they will control both houses of the state legislature, with a democrat as governor also. It will be the first time in 73 years, that all leaders of both executive and legislative branches of New York State government will be residents of New York City.
Stay tuned-in folks. Start planning your election night party.
