The Gateway (Cry Tough Edition) [Featuring Special Guest Nils Lofgren]

This is all so silly. No one watches Olbermann or Maddow (or Fox) expecting objectivity. They expect advocacy.

Of course, each network has its own Code of Ethics–at Fox, you get fired if you don't make contributions (and they all do). Olbermann Fallout | The Empire empire.wnyc.org

Truth be told, the only members of MSNBC’s Murderer’s Row I really like are O’Donnell and Matthews. Maddow has some good researchers, but her arch smugness and reflexive leftiness are a bit much for this liberal. As for Olbermann, I’d probably not object if they fired him for his sexist remarks about Hillary or his being a blowhard in the mode of Beck, Limbaugh and O’Reilly, but the more I think about this, the more I get outraged. So much so in fact, that I’ll let Mr. Lofgren express my feelings in song. Nils Lofgren – Keith Don't Go (From "Cry Tough" DVD) www.youtube.com

O'Donnell gets it; Greenwald is smoking crack.
