Mirror Mirror On The Wall

The tea baggers are as self absorbed as the compulsive masturbator in the film Boogie Nights.  In their ego’s search for importance first they attempt to grab the mantle of the founding fathers a group that was the very kernel of Liberal Western Thought having hardly much in common with your typical tea bagger.

They now reach for new heights acclaiming themselves to be “teavangelicals” as if to grab the crown of Jesus.  These characters have as much to do with Jesus and the founders as a rooster has to do with the sunrise.  The closest they come to the king of kings is being juiced up on Michael Jackson style Jesus Juice.

This psychological illness that grips the tea baggers goes back to the very origins of our mythology of evil, remember the evil queen in the old folk tale saying, “Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?”

You have to be manically self absorbed to take joy in the fact that you almost toppled the American economy and the world’s along with it in pursuit of crank economic policies that have no basis in reality but act instead as an ego booster raising their importance in their own minds to the renown of a great economist.

But that is OK, they still all want to be big shots and suffer from the “I am a big man too” complex and that is what drives them, not justice, not good, not humanity, not even ideology — just ego.
