Also to the jam packed Inner Circle crowd last night, you really touched my heart. I didn't expect the round of applause when I walked up to the mike. I will never forget it.
I grew up on the tradition of such legends as Gabe, Bill Beutal, John Johnson, Roger Grimsby, Jim Jensen. Let me tell you, Gabe has done as much to improve race relations in new york as any top official. He has a heart of gold. Others will try, and have tried, but no one will ever match the consistent excellence of Gabe Pressman.
