The Gateway (Festival Of Cartoon Characters: Monty Burns Meets Egidio Sementilli Edition)

Mitt Romney's new campaign slogan:

"Release the Hounds" The Simpsons, Mr. Burns : Release The Hounds.

Conservative With A Conscience Frum lays into Mitt:

"And what makes it all both so heart-rending and so outrageous is that all this is occurring at a time when economically disadvantaged Americans have never been so demoralized and passive, never exerted less political clout. No Coxey's army is marching on Washington, no sit-down strikes are paralyzing factories, no squatters are moving onto farmer's fields. Occupy Wall Street immediately fizzled, there is no protest party of the political left.

The only radical mass movement in this country is the Tea Party, a movement to defend the interests of elderly incumbent beneficiaries of the existing welfare state." The Sinister Message Behind Romney's "Gaffe" www.thedailybeast.com

Conservative Without A Conscience Kristol call Romney "Arrogant and Stupid":

Money Quote: "It's worth recalling that a good chunk of the 47 percent who don't pay income taxes are Romney supporters—especially of course seniors (who might well "believe they are entitled to heath care," a position Romney agrees with), as well as many lower-income Americans (including men and women serving in the military) who think conservative policies are better for the country even if they're not getting a tax cut under the Romney plan. So Romney seems to have contempt not just for the Democrats who oppose him, but for tens of millions who intend to vote for him." One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other Department:

Joseph Hayon: Wishing everyone a Shana Tova, including but not limited to Helene Weinstein, Simcha Felder, Gatemouth, Dov Hikind, and Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz.

GATEMOUTH (9/9/12): AD 82: Mike Benedetto is an OK Assembly member with a long record of community service. He is opposed, as he is in most years, by Egidio Sementilli. Sementilli has been running for Assembly, Senate and City Council almost every year since 1994, in Democratic primaries sometimes and as an Independence candidate. He also runs for party office (usually with his wife as a running mate).

Egidio is so crazy, it appears that the RVC won’t even endorse him.

Gatemouth endorses Benedetto.

9/13/12: Egidio gets 11.27%

9/18/12: Gatemouth Gets a Message from Egidio Sementilli

Egidio Sementilli: You are a Fagala, Tuchas leker, Kuhni Lemmel, Putz, Schmuck, and also Kish Mein Touchess. also a kafin kup

Gatemouth: Your Yiddish transliteration is almost as poor as your vote totals

Egidio: ah ah ah !!!!! Gai tren zich, Mr. Gatemouth. You need to be on side of the people and not the political gangsters you endorse all the time. It is easy for you to sit in front of your comp. and blog your soul out- like in the Wizard of oz- try going out in streets and see the real people. This fantasy world you create in this electronic environment of blogging – does not make a difference to the people. Have a nice day.
