The main reason I have thought that Mike Bloomberg would not run for President if that third party candidates have never won.
Whenever I and other skeptics have made this argument, Mike for President boosters and their ditto heads in the press have replied that Mike’s money makes him different- that when Mike spends a billion dollars to get known around the country, he’ll make history.
Now we have a WNBC/Marist poll of New York State voters.

These are voters who know Mike as well or better than anyone. These people have already experienced almost 200 million dollars worth of Bloomberg campaigns. They know more about Mike’s record and accomplishments than any voter will ever know.
And what do they think?
Mike loses in every scenario, even without either of the other New Yorkers, Hillary or Rudy running.
Mike Bloomberg trails both Barack Obama and John McCain in New York in this poll.
What states do anybody think Mike can win, beating both of them?
