Dark Horse Alyssa Kogon Set to Strike Victory
By Michael Boyajian
Dark horse state assembly candidate Alyssa Kogon is ready to strike victory as her Republican opponent the incumbent Joel Miller begins to melt down. Miller seemed to be a candidate with something to worry about recently as he went from a self assured campaigner to one who may be taking too aggressive a tact against his opponent reformer Alyssa Kogon.
However, the real melt down occurred when he decided, according to one political insider, to endorse Andrew Cuomo the Democrat running for governor. This sent shock waves through the Republican town organizations in Dutchess County with many party loyalists swearing off Miller’s candidacy.
Then Miller seemed to hit the nuclear self destruct button, according to the same insider, by allegedly stating that fire house companies had too many fire trucks and that they were used just for parades. Firemen are the civic backbone of many upstate communities and this is bound to have severe repercussions for Miller especially since 9/11 when firemen were held up to new heights of esteem as our greatest heroes.
Alyssa Kogon has discovered that there may be a possible conflict of interest with Miller in that he sponsored an assembly bill that provided millions of dollars to his alma mater in New York City. The former dentist claimed that it was another Miller that sponsored that bill but when a political operator contacted the “other” Miller the charge was vehemently denied.
Alyssa Kogon, an educator, has pledged to change the culture of Albany if elected to the assembly. She has been inspired going door to door through the district by angry voters who swear they are going to toss out any and all Albany incumbents on Election Day.
