The New Anarchists: The Republican Party

The Republican Party with its extremist calls for limited government is nothing more than an incarnation of the Anarchist movement of a century ago which resulted in the assassination of U.S. President William McKinley as well as Archduke Ferdinand which led to World War I with its 9 million dead.  Wikipedia defines anarchism as the philosophy that believes that the state is undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful.  Many anarchists believed strongly in violence.  Much the same beliefs are held today by Republicans and their supplicants in the Tea Party movement where again violence is continually threatened with inflammatory language, images and the carrying of firearms.

So the Republican Party has morphed into an anarchy movement that doesn’t believe in government.  It was my experience in government during a Republican administration that those who don’t believe in government will do everything in their power to see that government failed.

This is the creed of the new Republican Congress which has promised to stop funding state governments which will result in economic and social calamity all for the sake of cold ideological beliefs similar to those held by the early violent anarchists.

Their abhorrence of our government means many things considering how much good it has done over the years like winning World War II, landing a man on the moon and enacting civil rights laws.  It can mean many things but first and foremost it means that the Republicans want to undermine our government and bring the greatest nation in the world to its knees.

What do these Anarchist Republicans plan to replace the government with?  Perhaps a corporatocracy similar to that of the old Venetian Empire.  You remember these merchant rulers.  They paralyzed the Byzantine Empire so that Muslim Turks invaded Christian Europe.  They also financed Christian Crusades into Islam that are a sore point among Muslims to this day.

So what can be done about these Anarchist Republicans?  Well the first thing to do is inform the public of their intentions time and time again until voters begin voting against them and their anti-government ways thereby saving the nation and perhaps the world.
