Last week I had the honor of speaking to some students at the NYC Public High School for Health Professions on 15th St in Manhattan.
They have a sizable amount of minority students, and the School has a 92 percent Graduation Rate.
I was amazed, and asked the teacher, what’s the secret to a 92 percent graduation rate? Her answer was “we have high expectations for our children.”
There are success stories out there, and I for one say thank you to NYC Public School Teachers. They are amazing, and have impossible jobs.
