Carr does not believe NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who put Garner in a choke hold is truly sorry, and she still can not believe that Staten Island District Attorney Dan Danovan is now in Congress. In her words, “He actually got a promotion…… People just don’t turn out and vote”
Garner’s mother says a year later, she still can not look at the video of her son’s encounter with the NYPD, and that this is about Justice, not money.
